As you may know my researches into secret Jews started way back over 30 years ago in the smaller Balearic Islands of Spain, known as the Pititues Islands, Ibiza and Formetera, where my husband and I found vestiges of Jewish life that had continued un-interupted, but MOST secretly, all the way through from 1492.
 
Recently the Baleares Autonomous Government have taken extra notice of my work and publications and have most generously announced as follows: that with my permission, they wish to translate much of my printed work into Catalan and in addition would like to present the Casa Shalom Library with a full Edition of the most prestigious, and quite expensive 15 volume, ENCICLOPEDIA D'Eivissa I Formentera. Volumes 1-9, those already published, will arrive very shortly and the remainder as soon as available.
 
We regard this as a great honour Casa Shalom should be so singled out for such a presentation and so enhance our Library. It will almost certainly be the only set available in Israel, and maybe the whole of the Middle East. I wish to remind you that members have access, through their membership of Casa Shalom, to the facilities that we provide here, even if they cannot pay a personal visit.
